I help people and organisations become even better at what they do. In the mid-1990s I came to London from Edinburgh to work with a private firm of business psychologists transforming customer service and managing change in over a third of the top 100 UK companies. These crucial pillars of business are at the core of everything I do.
Until 2014 I worked in a traditional consultancy capacity with clients, including: development agencies, national and community museums, community groups, local and national charities, artists’ cooperatives, arts venues, contemporary art galleries, theatre production companies, Local Authorities, education institutes and start-up creatives. I worked on: strategy development, feasibility work, business planning, fundraising, research, evaluation, company restructuring, governance, project design and direction, conflict resolution and change management. My consultancy also encompasses 22 years of volunteering development.
Since 2014, after 25 years of work, I have taken more of a coaching and mentoring approach to meeting client needs: offering my knowledge, experience and skills in the most time efficient and cost effective way, focussing on building resilience and sustainability. I spend time with prospective clients to establish their needs and the best way of working together to meet them.
