Living East was the DCMS-appointed Cultural Consortium for the East of England.
I worked with the Consortium on various projects. The first was research identifying the range of funding resources available to the cultural sector for inclusion in an online database.
The second was to facilitate a review of the first regional Cultural Strategy and the way it was being delivered by the Regional Cultural Agencies. This involved one-to-one interviews with each of the 21 Consortium Board members, and the design and facilitation of a two-day Away Day with the Board to create a way forward.
Most recently, I undertook research to map the leadership training provision for existing and new cultural leaders in the region, making recommendations for a funding compact to support the development of leadership programmes across the sector. This involved working with a range of partners including the East of England Development Agency, Museums Libraries and Archives East of England, and Screen East.
