Design Museum, London

In 2010 I helped the Design Museum to review and improve the way it involves volunteers. Most volunteers were Interns, and we created a policy, procedures and role summaries to ensure both parties get the most out of the volunteering experience.

In 2015 I returned to conduct a strategic review of volunteering for the Museum to support the move from Shad Thames to their new home in Kensington. My role involved reviewing current practice, running a workshop for the Senior Management Team to scope current issues and best practice in cultural volunteering, and writing the volunteering strategy section of their five year business plan.
